the nu company is a green food startup rethinking snacks focusing on organic, plant-based ingredients and innovative, plastic-free packaging. By offering uncompromisingly good vegan chocolate bars, they challenge the food industry using only organic ingredients combined into innovative snacks, wrapped in state-of-the-art home-compostable packagings, and planting a tree for every product sold.

Coming from the old shop design, users often struggled to find important information, e.g., ingredients and allergens; there was a lack of clear visual hierarchy between contents; the funnel was hard to navigate in parts, leaving some users lost and confused.

With an extensive revision of the UX design and rearrangement of the product palette, we improved the overall user flow and designed a new product site with a straightforward UI easy to use. The rearrangement of the UX design gives users an easy-to-navigate interface with clear call-to-actions in each section for ease! The refreshed overview keeps categories visible, so there‘s no need to go backtracking when browsing through products.
